Setup guide
Custom stores and other platforms
Chooza works on custom-built stores and platforms we don’t list: all it needs is a product feed (Google Merchant, Facebook catalog or CSV) at a link or as a file, and one script tag on your pages. Most platforms can produce a feed, often with an app or plugin.
1. Get a product feed
- Find out whether your platform or an app can create a Google Shopping (Google Merchant) feed. Searching your platform’s app store for “Google Shopping feed” usually finds one.
- If your developer builds the feed, Google Merchant’s product data specification lists the fields. Chooza needs at least id, title, link and price; availability, image and description make its answers better.
- In Chooza’s setup, on the Products step, paste the feed link (we re-read it automatically) or upload the file.
Accepted formats: Google Merchant XML (RSS or Atom), Facebook catalog, and CSV or TSV with Google’s column names. See product feeds explained and Google’s product data specification.
2. Add the assistant to your site
- Copy your script tag from the Install step.
- Paste it into your site’s shared footer or head, so it’s on every page. Site builders call this “custom code”, “code injection” or “tracking code”.
- Publish, then open your store in a new window to check the assistant appears.

No way to produce a feed, or want order status from your own system? Ask about a custom integration.
See it on your own store
Try it on your own store: type your website and chat with 100 of your products in about a minute. Free, no sign-up; the demo is deleted after 24 hours.
