AI shopping assistant for Shopify

No feed needed: Chooza reads your store’s public product list. Choose “Shopify store” and enter your store address. You do this in Chooza’s setup, on the Products step.

1. 1Choose “Shopify store” above and enter your store address, like yourstore.com.
2. 2Pick the currency your prices are in, then click Connect.
3. 3If your store is password-protected, remove the password first, or use a product feed app instead.

Shopify’s Google & YouTube and Facebook & Instagram apps sync products directly and don’t give you a feed URL. If you prefer a feed, a feed app from the Shopify App Store (for example “Mulwi | 200+ Shopping Feeds”) can create one; third-party, so check its docs for where it shows the feed URL.

Your script tag, with your own key, is on the Install step. It looks like this:

1. 1In Shopify admin, go to Online Store › Themes.
2. 2Next to your current theme, click the … button, then Edit code.
3. 3Open layout/theme.liquid and paste the script tag just above </head>.
4. 4Click Save, then open your store to check the assistant appears.

The same script tag as every other platform; no Shopify app or extension is needed. The script loads after your page, so placing it in the head doesn’t slow the store. Don’t use Customer events › Custom pixels: Shopify’s pixel sandbox can’t show buttons or chat windows. Shopify suggests duplicating your theme before editing code.
