AI shopping assistant for Squarespace

Chooza is an AI shopping assistant and chatbot for Squarespace stores. It reads your catalog from a product feed (Google Merchant, Facebook catalog or CSV). Then you paste one script tag into your site (needs Core, Plus or Advanced plan (or some older plans such as Business and Commerce)). Setup takes about ten minutes.

Connect your products

Check your platform’s or app’s docs

Squarespace syncs to Google and Meta directly and doesn’t give you a feed URL, so you’ll need a feed service. You do this in Chooza’s setup, on the Products step.

  1. Use a product feed service that supports Squarespace and creates a Google Shopping feed URL.
  2. Copy the feed URL it gives you and paste it here.

Add the assistant to your site

Check your platform’s or app’s docs

Needs: Core, Plus or Advanced plan (or some older plans such as Business and Commerce). Your script tag, with your own key, is on the Install step.

  1. Open the Code Injection panel (search “Code Injection” in your site menu).
  2. Paste the script tag into the Footer field.
  3. Click Save, then open your site to check the assistant appears.

Squarespace’s help confirms the Footer field and the plans; the exact menu path wasn’t shown in text. Checkout pages don’t accept custom code.

Check it works

Open your store in a new window: the assistant appears in the corner. Then click “Check installation” on the Install step: it confirms the assistant is live on your site. Stuck? Read the install guide or contact us.
