AI shopping assistant for PrestaShop

Chooza is an AI shopping assistant and chatbot for PrestaShop stores. It reads your catalog from a product feed (Google Merchant, Facebook catalog or CSV). Then you paste one script tag into your site; no developer needed. Setup takes about ten minutes.

Connect your products

Check your platform’s or app’s docs

PrestaShop needs a feed module to create a Google Shopping feed URL. You do this in Chooza’s setup, on the Products step.

  1. Install a product feed module from PrestaShop Addons that creates a Google Shopping XML feed.
  2. Configure it and generate the feed.
  3. Copy the feed URL and paste it here.

You’ll need: A product feed module from PrestaShop Addons

Third-party: check the module’s docs. PrestaShop Marketing with Google syncs directly and doesn’t give you a feed URL.

Add the assistant to your site

Check your platform’s or app’s docs

Your script tag, with your own key, is on the Install step. It looks like this:

  1. Open your theme’s templates/_partials/footer.tpl (with FTP or your host’s file manager).
  2. Paste the script tag at the end of the file and save.
  3. In the back office, go to Advanced Parameters › Performance and click Clear cache.
  4. Open your store to check the assistant appears.

PrestaShop has no back-office box for custom code, so this is a theme file edit (you may want your developer’s help). Confirmed for the Classic and Hummingbird themes; other themes may use another file, and theme updates can overwrite it.

Check it works

Open your store in a new window: the assistant appears in the corner. Then click “Check installation” on the Install step: it confirms the assistant is live on your site. Stuck? Read the install guide or contact us.
