Installing the AI shopping assistant on your store

You install Chooza by pasting one script tag into your site, once, so it loads on every page. It loads after your page, doesn't slow it down, and only runs on the website addresses you allow.

Your script tag

Open Install in your dashboard and copy your script tag. It looks like this, with your own store key:

<script src="https://chooza.io/widget.js" data-key="YOUR_KEY" async></script>

Paste it once, into a place that's on every page: your theme's layout, or your platform's "custom code", "code injection", "header" or "footer" setting. Head or footer both work: the script loads after your page, so it doesn't slow your store down.

Guides by platform

Check it's live

Open your store in a new tab (or a private window), then click Check installation on the Install page. Within a minute it confirms the assistant is live and shows the address it was seen on.

If the assistant doesn't appear

  • Wrong address. The assistant only runs on your website address and its subdomains. Using another domain (a staging site, a second shop)? Add it under Allowed domains in Settings.
  • Cached pages. If your platform or a plugin caches pages, clear the cache or wait a few minutes.
  • Part of the tag missing. Check the whole tag was pasted, including data-key.
  • Blocked scripts. Some sites have a security policy (Content-Security-Policy) that blocks scripts from other sites. Allow our address in it, or ask your developer.
  • Paste in the right place. On Shopify, use the theme code (layout/theme.liquid), not Customer events: Shopify's pixel sandbox can't show chat windows.

Still stuck? Contact us with your website address.

Removing it

Delete the script tag from your site. Nothing else is left behind on your pages.

See it on your own store

Try it on your own store: type your website and chat with 100 of your products in about a minute. Free, no sign-up; the demo is deleted after 24 hours.
